Members sign in their guests, up to 3 at a time, and reciprocal visitors are recorded.

Who’s on site now

A live list of everyone signed in, a searchable sign-in log, and a fire roll call for drills.

Hosts told straight away

Arrival alerts go to the person they’re visiting, on Slack, Microsoft Teams or Google Chat.

How Signd works with the other apps

Every Okayd app runs on one account. Point at an app to see what changes when you use it with Signd.

For clubs

The sign-in register your club licence expects.

RSAs, sports clubs, chartered and workingmen’s clubs, and Clubs NZ members. Under a club licence, alcohol can only be sold to members, their guests and visitors from clubs with reciprocal rights (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, section 60). Councils expect a guest to be invited and accompanied by a current member, and most clubs ask non-members to sign in on arrival. Signd does that properly, on a tablet at the door, instead of a paper book nobody can read.

  1. Members sign in with a tap. The members list lives in Signd, with a note for anyone behind on subs.
  2. Guests are signed in against a named member, up to three at a time, so every guest on the premises has a host.
  3. Reciprocal visitors from affiliated clubs are recorded with their home club.
  4. Bans and trespass notices are checked at sign-in, and with Scand the visitor’s ID is scanned too.
  5. The sign-in log is searchable by date, so the inspector’s question is answered in a minute.
  6. Fire roll call. Who’s on site right now, on the duty manager’s phone, for drills and the real thing.

This is how we read the rules, not legal advice. Your licence conditions may differ, so check with your council’s licensing inspector. Signd is in trial, and we’re looking for founding clubs to run it with us.

The club pack

Signd for the door, Checkd for the duty manager log, incident reports and the licence paperwork, and Nyted for what’s on, functions and bookings. One account, one bill. Clubs with a public bar add Scand.

On the entrance tablet

Your club’s name and colours, three buttons: I’m a member, I’m a guest, I’m visiting from another club. Staff confirm each entry. Works offline if the Wi-Fi drops.

Help shape the visitor workflow.

Signd is priced per site, per week, by the kind of site: office, social club, or a business that checks IDs. Half price if you already use Scand.
