Analytics that saw the door, not just the till.
Every hospitality analytics tool on the market reads the till and the roster. None of them know how many people are in the queue, how long guests stay, who was refused, or that two incidents were logged at 12:40am. Insightd does, because the door, the roster, the till, the stock, the incidents and the bookings all run on Okayd. It is the one app that reads the whole night.
How it transforms a venue
Monday, 5 minutes
Instead of reading reports, you read a briefing: what last week cost, what to change this week, what it will save, with the change already drafted. Approve, edit or ignore each one.
Rosters built from the forecast
Next Saturday’s roster starts from a forecast of next Saturday, with weather, the game, payday and the cruise ship, not from a copy of last week. Labour drift warns you before the week closes, not after.
Leaks found while they are small
Pour variance, voids, no-sales, late clock-outs and comps are scored every night. A 9% variance on the house vodka is a bar check on Friday, not a stocktake surprise at the end of the month.
Offers that bring the right people back
A quiet Thursday becomes a Hookd offer to the members who already come on Thursdays, written inside NZ alcohol law, drafted for you to approve.
A live night, not a dead report
Tonight’s door count against forecast, the wage percentage as it moves, and a tip when the bar queue starts costing money. Managers act at 11pm, not next month.
It pays for itself
Insightd tracks the savings from every suggestion you approve against your bundle bill. The demo venue sat at 4.8 times. Yours starts at “still learning” and earns its number.
What is inside
Nine screens, in the Admin portal for owners and managers. Duty managers get the live screen on their phone.
Tonight, live
Door count against forecast, sales, wage percentage as it happens, night profit so far, bar wait and spend a head per venue. A tip the moment a queue starts costing money, and a quiet-night early-finish suggestion.
This week
Savings found, the Monday briefing, staff-on against staff-needed, the 8-week wage trend, where the savings are, what was held back for safety, and the suggestions waiting for a yes.
Staffing
An over-and-short heatmap by hour and night. A what-if simulator: drag shift start, send-home time and extra peak staff, and see wages, sales, profit and the safety checks change. Labour drift: next week’s published rosters against plan, before the week closes.
Money
Night profit: a flash P&L per venue per night, with profit a head. Leak radar: scored patterns across voids, pour variance, late clock-outs, no-sales and comps. Keg and spirit price pulse from Tallyd invoices. Menu items that sell against items that make money.
Next 7 nights
A forecast card per night with Wellington weather, local events, paydays, exams and cruise ships. Door and sales forecast, staff needed, and the draft Tallyd order, Hookd offer and Checkd checklist to match.
Benchmarks
Anonymised comparison against other Okayd venues of your type and region: sales per hour, spend a head, wage percentage, arrival curve. Switches on once ten venues of a type are on Okayd, never before.
The Crew
Seven assistants that only draft: Night Reporter, Roster Drafter, Order Drafter, Price Watcher, Leak Watcher, Offer Tuner and Night Watch. Each has an on-off switch and a log of what it did and why.
Ask Insightd
Plain-words questions with sourced answers: how long people stay, what a night cost in wages, which price went up, who to roster for the game. Every answer says which app the numbers came from.
How it works
The data flow, what Insightd will never read, why it only comes with the full bundle, and how the safety brake decides.
The rules it cannot break
- Suggestions only. Insightd drafts into Rosterd, Tallyd, Hookd and Checkd; a person approves every change.
- The safety brake: no suggestion can cut the door plan, break duty manager or break rules, touch agreed hours, breach the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, or ignore an incident Checkd has logged.
- It never reads an ID photo, a licence number, a name or a member’s details. Counts, times and totals only.
- Staff-level detail is for owners and general managers. Everyone else sees the venue.
- Four to six weeks of your own history before it trusts itself, and it says “still learning” until then.
- Benchmarks are anonymised and only exist once ten venues of your type are on Okayd.
Why only with the full bundle
Insightd is only as good as what it can see. With Scand alone it would know the door and nothing else; with a till alone it would be every other analytics tool. The full bundle puts every Okayd app on one account, so Insightd sees the whole night and the suggestions are worth approving. It switches itself on the day the last app does.
The nearest tools overseas, Nory, Tenzo, Toast IQ and Lightspeed, forecast from till data and benchmark restaurants. None of them have door data, none are built for late-night bars and clubs, and none check a suggestion against incidents or New Zealand alcohol law.
How Insightd works with the other apps
Every Okayd app runs on one account. Point at an app to see what changes when you use it with Insightd.
