Draft in Rosterd
Two bar staff too many after 1am on Saturdays
Door count drops 40% after 1am but the roster doesn’t. Draft roster sends two home at 1:15.
Saves about $410 a week
Cafés · Restaurants · Bars · Clubs — from Wellington, New Zealand
Okayd started as the ID scanner on a Wellington door. Now it runs the whole venue, from the first coffee to the last drink: invoices, bookings, rosters, food safety, money, the till and the door, with an AI that reads it all together.
For bars, clubs, restaurants, cafés, festivals and venues in New Zealand and Australia. Scand is live, Nyted is a free live preview, Hookd and Signd are in trial, and the rest arrive app by app.
Two packages · one account
A café needs different apps from a nightclub. Start with the package that fits your venue and only pay for that. Every app runs on the same account, so you can add more later.
The daytime apps, without the door scanner. The morning’s invoices, the week’s roster, the kitchen records and what’s on, done on a phone before the lunch rush.
The door, the members, the incidents and the staff. Scand at the door and everything that follows the night, on one record.
Restaurant, club, nightclub or a group of venues? There’s a package for each, all on one account and one bill. See all six packages
The line-up
Turn on the apps you need and switch the rest on later. Owners and managers sign in once, in the Admin portal. Door, floor and kitchen staff only ever see the app they work in.
Insightd · demo, comes with the full bundle
Every other analytics tool sees your till. Insightd sees the door, the roster, the till, the stock, the incidents and the bookings together, because they all run on Okayd. It finds what cost you money last week, drafts the fix in the right app, and waits for you to say yes.

Draft in Tallyd + Checkd
Sold 212 nips, used 231. Tallyd order held; a bar check is drafted in Checkd for Friday.
About $140 a week
Draft in Hookd
Offer drafted for members who came on a Thursday in the last 60 days: free entry before 10:30. No alcohol in the offer.
Checked against the drink-deal rules
Held back for safety
But Checkd logged two incidents at 12:40am, so Insightd kept the second host on.
No action needed
Safety brakeHow long do people stay on a Saturday?
About 2 hours 40 minutes on average, from the Scand entry to the last Tilld tab. People who arrive before 10:30 stay 50 minutes longer than people who arrive after midnight.

Scand’s arrival curve, Rosterd’s clock-ins, Tilld and Tallyd’s sales and stock, Checkd’s incidents, Nyted’s bookings. Counts and totals only; never a name, an ID photo or a licence number.
Four to six weeks of history, plus weather, paydays, exams, games and cruise ships, and it knows what a normal Saturday looks like for you. Until then it says “still learning”.
Suggestions arrive as drafts in the right app: a roster, an order, an offer, a checklist. Approve, change or ignore. Insightd never changes anything on its own.
No suggestion can cut your door plan, break duty manager or break rules, touch agreed hours, breach alcohol law or ignore an incident Checkd has logged. Saving money never beats a safe night.
You stop reading reports and start approving decisions. The Monday briefing is five minutes: what last week cost, what to change, what it will save. The what-if simulator shows a roster change in wages, sales and profit before you publish it.
Tonight, live: door count against forecast, wage percentage as it happens, bar wait, a tip when the queue starts costing money. The next seven nights are forecast with staff needed, so the roster is built from the forecast, not from last week.
Door data. Arrival curves, time inside, queue cost, refusals and member value exist nowhere else. Later, anonymised benchmarks against other NZ bars and clubs of your type, once ten are on Okayd.
Scand · live
Scand is the ID scanner that began Okayd: built by a head of security on a Wellington door, and used every weekend since. Every guest is checked, matched to their ID photo and run against your ban list in the time it takes to say hello.
Real Scand screens. The people shown are sample details.
Run sheet
Most venues run the night on a roster app, an ID scanner, a reporting tool and a group chat that never quite talk to each other. Okayd keeps it all in one place.
| Time | App | What happens | Today |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5:30pm | The door team clocks in. Tonight’s roster already knows who is on the door, and whose security licence is due for renewal. | Demo | |
| 7:00pm | The band’s crew signs in. Contractors and visitors sign in on the entrance tablet, and the person they’re here to see gets a message. | Trial | |
| 9:45pm | Doors open. Scand reads each ID, puts the ID photo beside the guest’s face and checks your ban list across every venue you run. | Live | |
| 11:20pm | A ban, agreed in one tap. Door staff ban on the spot with one of 19 standard reasons. A manager agrees in the Admin portal, and the ban shows at all your doors. | Live | |
| 12:40am | A birthday offer, redeemed. Free entry for a member and three mates. After the scan, staff see “Offer waiting” and redeem it once. | Trial | |
| 3:00am | The incident report starts itself. Tonight’s ban opens the report, already linked to the scan and to who was on the door. | Demo · Scand link soon | |
| 6:30am | The morning door summary lands. IDs checked, let in and refused at each venue, posted to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Google Chat. Numbers only, never names. | Live |
Nyted is where people decide what to do tonight, and where your venue takes the booking. Guests find real events and places to eat and drink near them; you get booths, guest lists, deposits and functions in one diary that talks to your door.
Free for guests and free for venues while we launch: no subscription, no per-guest or per-cover fees. Opening to founding venues this summer.
Who builds it
Okayd is made by Marc, a head of security who works doors every weekend, and Jake. We build the tools we wanted on a busy Saturday night, and support you from Wellington, in your time zone.

Every venue is different: one door or five, a bar till or a restaurant diary, a dozen staff or eighty. Tell us what you run and you’ll have a quote in a day. Start with a 30-day free trial, then it’s month to month with 30 days’ notice.
